Safe Online Billing is a family-run UK telecoms billing software company founded in 2005 by Paul and Susan Barrass. The company develops and operates the SAFE Billing Platform, cloud-based billing software purpose-built for UK telecoms resellers. It handles CDR processing across more than 85 carrier formats, recurring billing, white-label invoicing, Direct Debit collection through GoCardless, card payments via Stripe, and customer self-service portals. Packages start from £20 per month, the lowest published entry price we know of for a standalone UK telecoms billing platform. Our Story
We are Paul and Susan Barrass. We founded Safe Online Billing in 2005, bringing a decade of experience in telecoms software, to give UK resellers billing software designed for the way they work.
The SAFE Billing Platform has been developed continuously since then, with CDR processing, recurring billing, payment collection, a customer portal and, most recently, SAFE CRM.

We automate the repetitive parts of billing, such as rating, recurring charges and collection, and build checks so your team can deal with the exceptions before invoices go out.
Many features start with a conversation with a customer about a workflow that takes too long or a check they need before billing.
Changes are released continuously and recorded in the changelog inside the platform, rather than held back for occasional major versions.
